Island Hopping | Tunku Abdul Rahman Park

Island hopping at Tunku Abdul Rahman Park, Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia.
(out of randomness, i will write on this particular post)

April 9th, 2011. It was a bit cloudy, but apart from the grey cloud hovering above the sea, anything else was splendid, superb...and the sun decided not to play hide and seek all day long, it came out at last.

We went island hopping to four island, as mention by the boat driver (or boat whatever people called it). Sapi Island, Mamutik Island, Sulug Island and Mamutik Island.

The first pit-stop, Sapi Island. Relatively smaller than other island surrounding it, and literally smaller in size, including the beach. There are saying that goes 'as far as the eye can see', well, that doesn't apply here. The beach is excellent thou, white sandy beach, with crystal clear green/blue water. Great for relaxing and lazying around. *the sweetness of doing nothing apply here*

********************************************************************

The second pit-stop, Mamutik Island. Larger in size, compared to Sapi Island. Boat ride takes approximatively 5-8 minutes. Mamutik Island, the beach is relatively small too, nothing private. Great for family activities since there is a huge compound for camping provided.

*********************************************************************

The third island on the list, Sulug Island. We didn't actually go and stop and play along at the white sandy beach, we just sit on the boat, and look at it, from a far. According to the boatman, this island used to be oped to public, but since the native primate *monkey lah* always stole and takes whatever happens to be brought there by the visitors, no one ever come to the island anymore for recreational purposes.

*******************************************************************

The fourth pit-stop, Manukan Island. Bet you have heard a lot bout this magnificent island. The largest among all the island listed in Tunku Abdul Rahman Park. Long stretch of white sandy beach, as far as the eye can see. Of course not forgetting the crystal clear water, we can saw the fish with naked eye, no need to scuba dive for it. Para-sailing, banana boat rides and lot more activities you can try on this particular island.

That's all.

the silent before the storm | and after

the weirdest thing about storm is the total silent that attach to it, regardless the total chaos it posses. The silent before the storm, and after the storm.

*although this picture is taken on a gloomy day, no storm thou*

candle | paper

a little project to make you feel good.
all you need is a candle, and a piece of paper,
and some adhesive tape *or whatever people called it*

step 1. crumble your paper, to give some texture.
step 2. tape the end (end to end) so it will form into cylinder shape.
step 3. shape it the way you wanted.
step4. lit up a candle, what ever candle you can find.
step 5. place the candle in the center, and viola!

enjoy your nite.
